Professor Paul Robertson

My portrait of Professor Paul Robertson

Cast bronze, made in clay (the violin in paper

and acrylic)with a wonderful movable wooden core made by my friend Ian Fletcher.

I drove it to Herbich's foundry in Gernlinden, cast it,found a stone base at BarbaraOppenrieder's

and a steel stand..It was sent by air and was exhibited in my (home) gallery and at Cambridge Open Studios and in
Avrille in France (the photo where I stand with another artist at the Opening.

I heard him recently on BBC3 and was so delighted that I should be able to hear him from Munich

and decided to tell the National Portrait Gallery about the sculpture, which is in Beaconsfield with Robin and Flora.
